During the past three seasons we have expanded our small game hunting! During 1999 we built a new camp to cater to mainly partridge (ptarmigan) hunters in the Long Range Mountains area of the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland in a place known for its partridge and caribou hunting. The hunters who hunted in the fall of 1999 commented that the bird hunting was too good to be true, (too many birds, a good complaint!!) This area is remote and hasn't been hunted for many years. This can be attributed to the fact of so many birds. This camp is located on the edge of the Long Range Mountains and near a glacial valley with some spectacular waterfalls and magnificent scenery. You will also have lots of wildlife to photograph; such as arctic hare, caribou, moose, fox, and black bears. The last group of hunters for 1999 finished hunting in just two days. We supply you with food, guides, showers, and cook.

Licenses for game bird hunting are issued at outlets throughout Newfoundland. Upon request we will have your licence at the lodge.
We have excellent caribou hunting in combination with game bird hunts and have taken many Boone and Crockett animals.
